You can self-refer or have your health provider send a referral. Referrals are helpful if you have already had investigations done or have a complex medical history. If your health provider has sent a referral specifically for a procedure such as ring pessary fitting or IUD/implant insertion then an initial appointment is not always required.

We do not receive any government funding for consultations. We also offer extended appointments that allow adequate time to hear your unique concerns and formulate a plan through a shared decision making approach.

There is government funding available for IUD insertion and removals, Implant insertion and removals, Pipelle biopsies and Pessary insertions.
Criteria such as Community services card or financial strain apply. A healthcare provider’s referral is helpful but not essential. Please discuss at time of booking if you wish to consider this option.

For new patients, initial appointments are up to 45 minutes in length. This will include history taking, examination, ordering of any tests/imaging and possibly a prescription. You are welcome to bring a support person with you to your appointment.
